Symposium in Honor of Anatol "Ted" Balbach

The Research Division of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis hosted this event to honor former director of research Anatol "Ted" Balbach (1927-2007). Friends and colleagues presented research papers, recounted their memories of Ted, and offered testimonials.

We have compiled a memorial booklet that contains much of what was presented at the symposium, as well as other contributions. We hope you enjoy reading this tribute and find it a fitting way to remember Ted.
